“Makeup Mistake #2: High Gloss Lips by Joyce Conner
Some women of colour tend to have larger lips and by adding a very intense gloss, gives the illusion of enlarged lips.
If you want to make your lips look smaller use a dark lip colour, this can be reds, pinks or browns. Lips that have pigment on them need to have foundation applied over them first to even them out before applying your lip colour.
Then start by applying the lip colour to the lips, pat the lips with a tissue. Press powder onto the lips and draw around the lip line with a pencil. If you still want gloss just add a small amount to the centre of the top and bottom lip.”
