The February Especially for Me Edition is gorgeous isn’t it? In case you were wondering what to do with your new goodies, here are a few tips.
The Figs & Rouge Rose Berry hand cream is the perfect size to fit in your handbag or even a clutch bag. I don’t know about you but I don’t go anywhere without hand cream – day, evening or night. Hydrate your skin and perk yourself up with this yummy smelling hand cream anywhere.
The winter cold coupled with dehydrating central heating can leave your skin feeling very dry. The Palmers Cocoa Butter Concentrated Cream is perfect for moisturising when you’re out and about. I find that my forearms can suffer when I’m wearing ¾ sleeves so this fast absorbing cream is perfect for quick rehydration.
The Evolve Hyaluronic Serum is so light and hydrating it feels like I am splashing my face with super-charged water when I wear it! After cleansing, use the dropper to dot the serum where you need it most or you can do what I do and dot it all over your face and neck. Lightly smooth it in with your fingertips and let it sink in before following with moisturiser.
For pretty nails, apply a base coat or clear nail polish and when it is nearly dry follow with two thin coats of your Lottie London Nail Lacquer. Paint one stripe down the middle of your nail then one stripe either side for all of your nails then repeat. Finish with a top coat or another coat of clear nail polish for a gorgeous manicure.
The Philip Kingsley Moisture Extreme Conditioner is probably just what you need right now, especially if you find yourself blow-drying your hair more often as I do in the winter. For thick hair, apply to towel dried hair concentrating on the ends and mid-lengths, comb through and leave to sink in for 10 minutes. Rinse out and style as usual. For fine hair, use sparingly.
If you received the Benecos Natural Kajal eyeliner in brown, why not use it to draw on some freckles? For more tips see our blog post on 4 ways to wear brown eyeliner for brown beauties!
If you have the Inlight Chocolate Face Mask, gently smooth it over your skin and leave for 10 minutes. I like to remove my masks using a damp muslin cloth which I gently smooth over my skin in a circular motion. Your skin will be left bright and refreshed. Remember, do not eat the mask!
Not sure about wearing the Kiss Cosmetics KISStick in Lady in Red? Here’s a tip I’m loving at the moment. Pat the colour on to your lips using your finger instead of applying straight from the tube to give your lips a healthy red tint. It’s much easier to maintain than a perfectly crafted bold red lip.
